A feather-brained racing pigeon has strayed a long way off course and into a British Army camp in Iraq!
The lost, puzzled-looking bird was spotted on a tent and captured by a young soldier whose grandfather races pigeons.
Unlucky got lost
Shaun Huntingdon, who's called the bird Unlucky, said most racing pigeons wouldn't go further than Europe.
But he thinks Unlucky just got lost.
Like other racing pigeons, the bird has a green metal ring round its leg. On it is the ID number - 97.OWJan2319619.
Shaun hopes someone will recognise the number so that Unlucky can find his real owner.
