The three baby seals, called pups, were among the 40 animals nursed back to health at the RSPCA's wildlife hospital
at East Winch, near King's Lynn, Norfolk.
Alison Charles, the hospital's deputy manager, said "We never thought we would see this day after so many exhausting months."
20 more seals will be released over the next few weeks, and the rest will be freed when they have gained more weight.
