It's mid-summer in Australia right now but four polar bears have been made to feel right at snowy home.

Polar bear at Sea World in Brisbane
Sea World zoo in Brisbane has given Kanook, Ping Ping, Lia and Lutik a whole load of the white stuff to cool their paws.

The bears already have special wind fans which waft around lots of interesting smells to keep them busy.

A big hit

Polar bears are famously tricky creatures; they can get bored easily in zoos and behave badly.

Fact File
What the chilled bears get
The equivalent of 300 wheelie bins of snow a day...
... 30 tonnes of ice and 4.2 tonnes of dry ice
4 trailers bring the ice from the city

It's hot in Australia right now so snow is being specially made.

The furry four haven't had any problems adapting to the Aussie climate, despite layers of fat and fur!

But the snow's got them really excited and they can't stop playing in it.
