A wild boar on the run has got the better of police.
Two officers spotted the large beast as it thundered past them in the Scottish Highlands.
They jumped out of their car and tried to catch the boar, but he charged past them and ran off into the night.

It was last seen heading towards the forest at Badenoch, near Newtonmore and Laggan.
No one seems to know where the animal came from, and police have asked people to call them if they spot the boar.
But locals have been warned not to approach the beast, as it could be dangerous.
It's not the first boar to be on the loose in the area. There was a huge search in August for another boar, nicknamed McQueen, who escaped from a slaughterhouse in Perthshire.
