The Deep opens this weekend in Hull

The Deep cost £45.5million to build, and tells the story of the sea from the beginning of time to the present day.

The lift ride is believed to be the first in the world, taking visitors deep into the aquarium with all the sea creatures swimming around them.

The mammoth tank contains more than 2,500 fascinating sea creatures from all over the world.

		Big-bellied seahorse

There's even a futuristic research station on the ocean floor, which offers visitors the chance to learn how to pilot a submarine and to take part in interactive experiments.

It's hoped that The Deep will not only be a real adventure, but will also a teach people about the oceans and their secrets.
