US Marines and the Republican Guard

Intro Weapons Training Clothing Pay Kit
US MARINE REPUBLICAN GUARD
Backpacks and webbing are used to carry personal kit. Canteens to hold water are worn on the Marines back, next to his "buttpack" which holds a first aid kit. The first aid kit contains bandages, antiseptics, aspirin and foot powder.

Food comes in the form or MREs or Meals, Ready-to-Eat. This food in plastic bags cooks itself, once water is added.

Matches, compass, camouflage paint, a wash kit, are also in the kit bag, as is half the equipment for a two-man tent and a foam sleeping mat. Some non-standard items many Marines carry include baby wipes in a zip-lock bag, a Leatherman and Camel Bak water bladders.

Leather ankle or high lace up boots or canvas and rubber lace up desert boots.

Similar to a French army design and worn with or without short gaiters. In combat soldiers wear close fitting crash helmet headgear similar to that worn by US Delta Force.
