|Shadow chancellor - George Osborne
David Cameron and George Osborne have been dubbed the Conservatives' "Blair and Brown", with the Tatton MP managing his friend's leadership campaign.
He entered the shadow cabinet as chief secretary to the Treasury and has kept the shadow chancellor job given to him by Michael Howard in May 2005.
Before becoming an MP in 2001, he was a special adviser in the agriculture department when the Tories were in government and later served as political secretary to William Hague.
He is also heir to the Osborne and Little wallpaper fortune.
