Huntley and Carr gave several interviews to press and broadcast journalists in the fortnight before the girls were found.
On each occasion they kept up their story that Huntley had been the last to see the girls and they had left his house.
In these uncut interviews with BBC Look East, Huntley reflects on that fact.
Carr describes her relationship with the girls but she refers to them in the past tense throughout.
Towards the end of the interview, the journalist and cameraman realise this and ask her to rephrase her answer.
