CRACKING CRIME DAY
Jewellery
Most of us keep our jewellery in an obvious place - top cupboard of a bedroom wardrobe or on display.

A floorboard safe or a small safe, which is bolted into the fabric of the building, is a good way of securing valuables.

Alternatively, don't keep all your jewellery in one place and don't store jewellery downstairs - a gift for the seasoned burglar.

And photographing your jewellery makes it easier to trace if it is stolen.
