Bhopalgarh is a predominantly rural constituency in the heart of Rajasthan, on the edge of the Thar desert. It has 182,000 voters spread over 52 villages.
Almost half the population comes from the Jat community, to which I belong. Most grow mustard or spices such as cumin and rape seed.
Every day I aim to visit at least 10-15 villages. We cover almost 200km every day, mostly through dirt tracks and country lanes.
I was born in this region and have lived here all my life.
