Tom Mangold is Panorama's longest serving reporter, having spent 25 years at the programme. The award-winning reporter joined Panorama in 1976 and his investigations took him around the world. A Panorama special for the programme’s 25th birthday in 1978 saw Tom Mangold investigate new weapons that could destroy western defences from space.
