Salih Demiralija, 36, a member of the Gorani minority, runs a restaurant in Pec, western Kosovo.

"When the status resolution comes, I hope I will be able to employ youth, regardless of their ethnic background – everyone is welcome in my shop.

"I also want to expand the business so that I can comfortably support my family in the future."
