John Fedd, 75, Obama campaign volunteer

I was around when blacks couldn't drink out of water fountains, couldn't go downtown to eat - and to see a black man running for president, I never thought I'd live long enough to see it.

That's why I'm excited about the campaign. It's a historic event and I want to pass it to my grandchildren.
