South Africans are voting in the most competitive polls since the end of apartheid.

The African National Congress is expected to win, but its two-thirds majority is being challenged mainly by the Democratic Alliance and newly formed Congress of the People (Cope).

The BBC asked residents across the country how they would be voting.
