Forty-five kilos of cocaine from Ghana, Africa. Each sack of rice contained three 1kg blocks of cocaine.

In Ghana, the wholesale value was about Ł450,000. Once imported to the UK, its value would be Ł1.125m, or Ł25,000 per block.

But sold by the gram on the street, its value would be Ł1.8m pure – or twice that if cut with another substance.
