Cocaine in rice Forty-five kilos of cocaine from Ghana, Africa. Each sack of rice contained three 1kg blocks of cocaine. In Ghana, the wholesale value was about £450,000. Once imported to the UK, its value would be £1.125m, or £25,000 per block. But sold by the gram on the street, its value would be £1.8m pure – or twice that if cut with another substance. |
