I’m originally from a village close to Ramle in what is now Israel. In 1948 my family was forced to leave our village. I grew up in a place called Latrun, but we were forced to move again in 1967. I am a refugee twice over. I long to go back to the house where I was born. When you lose a country you will always yearn for it.
