Sophie Chou moved to New York a year ago - from Washington, where she worked close the Pentagon, which was also attacked on 9/11.

She says the attacks are often mentioned when she and her friends discuss foreign policy or the Bush administration.

"But I would be having those discussions anywhere I lived," she adds.
