Dance group Girls La Musica were one of the supporting acts at the pageant. The Harare outfit danced to contemporary Zimbabwean music in a sexually provocative way. Such groups have become increasingly popular recently, after overcoming resistance from those who felt that their shows were culturally inappropriate.
