Richard Williams, 33, said: "I don't think he has enough personality. He is very dry and seems to need a bit of spark. You need somebody who has personality in today's media world. It is a shame because he has been a great chancellor. But you need someone who can get across to voters on the GMTV sofa and he doesn't come across very well."
