Parts of the Buncefield depot are run by different firms. The seat of the fire, and the worst damaged section, is Total and Texaco's 'HOSL (Hertfordshire Oil Storage Ltd) West, plus the British Pipeline Agency area. The main fuels stored on the site are unleaded petrol, diesel products and aviation fuel.
