The new regime Alcohol can be sold 24-hours-a-day, in theory at least, after a change in the law. In reality very few pubs, bars, clubs and shops will be open round-the-clock. But many have asked for variations to allow longer hours - mainly at weekends. The introduction of the Licensing Act 2003 replaces laws for England and Wales from 1964. |
