Heels at high prices

A pair of shoes worth 700,000 went on sale at Harrods in 2002.

Designed by Stuart Weitzman, they were said to be the most expensive pair of shoes in the world, with 464 diamonds set in pure platinum.

They were kept in a bulletproof cabinet in the store's footwear department on the first floor.
