The Guardian Angels are a voluntary organisation aimed at fighting violent crime and providing "a positive role model for young people".

They run safety patrols throughout London.

Before each patrol, every Guardian Angel is searched for weapons.

They each carry a whistle, radio, torch and first-aid kit.
