Russian President Vladimir Putin is visiting Ukraine for the first time since western-leaning Viktor Yushchenko won disputed presidential elections.

Mr Putin had backed Mr Yushchenko's rival, but the visit is aimed at repairing traditionally close ties.

The BBC asked people in Kiev what they thought of Ukraine's relations with Russia.
