Biggest aid donors The richest countries generally provide the largest amount of foreign aid. In absolute terms the US is the largest donor providing around $19bn per year, while the next four largest industrial nations (Japan, France, Germany, and the UK) are the next biggest donors. Italy is a small donor despite the size of its economy. |
