After the bloody protests in the Uzbek town of Andijan, the people of neighbouring Korasuv kicked out their local administration.

The BBC spoke to two locals about the atmosphere in Korasuv and their hopes and fears.

"It's great! There are no police, and the mayor's gone too," said a man calling himself Abdumalik.
