The past 10 years Net immigration - the difference between the number arriving and those leaving the UK - has risen dramatically in the past decade. For many years more people left than arrived, but now net immigration is running at 150,000-175,000 a year. The number leaving has risen gradually, but more people than ever are moving to the UK. |
