In the run-up to Iran’s parliamentary elections, there is much interest in the two-thirds of the country's population aged under 30. The post-revolution baby boom generation strongly backed President Khatami’s election in 1998, but the young are now considered widely disillusioned with the pace of change and many may not vote.
