For the people of Bam, the cemetery has become a favourite place to remember their loved ones.

"I want to show the world the situation in Bam, and what the earthquake did to the people and our town," says Hossein Asanyan, pictured here at his wife's grave.

"My wife died. I had four uncles and they died with their families."
