“I was driving south out of Antananarivo, Madagascar, when I noticed 3 children sitting by the side of the road. I didn't make them pose and they remained sitting like this for the 30 minutes I was there.

“There is no school in that desolate region where their Mother sells fruit to travellers from a small woven basket and it's the girl's job to sit there and stay out of trouble.
