"These children are making flowers to sell on the street. These decorations are traditional in Afghanistan. People use them to decorate their houses during Eid.

"This year Eid was very different, because the Taleban are gone. Last year, I did not understand what holiday meant because everyday [girls] had to be in the house. I used to get bored. Now I understand what a holiday means."
