From today cigarette manufacturers will no longer be able to market "low tar", "mild", or "light" brands in Europe under new European Union regulations.

Anti-smoking groups say such names are misleading, and by adapting their technique, smokers ingest just as much nicotine and tar from as they would from a normal cigarette.
