Dalia Ziada is a young activist and blogger. Her mother Asmaa is a headteacher. One of the causes Dalia champions in her blog is an end to FGM – female genital circumcision. The practice is widespread in Egypt. Dalia herself was circumcised with her mother's approval. Now she challenges the practice online and in her family. "I had to argue for a long time but I convinced my uncle not to circumcise my young cousin."
