In pictures: British summer 'staycation'


 

Most huts are wooden and shed-like. There is room for a bed although sleeping overnight in the huts is banned. Many have a nautical theme interior.

Jane Parry says her hut must be about 50 years old because of its kitsch decor. She lives in Devon but tries to visit as often as she can with her son Adam, 11, and Cid the dog.
