		Happy couple In times of difficulty neighbours help each other. "Sometimes neighbours take water from us or we have to borrow from the hotel downstairs. It is difficult but we manage," Mrs Ranade says. Mr Ranade has pursued his hobby of gardening in their long, narrow corridor. There are over 150 plants and several varieties of cacti. "It needs less water and it is lovely to see a flowering cactus," he says. "It's ideally suited to these conditions!"
