In pictures: Indian railways' runaway children

Mounesh finds Mandeep who has travelled over 1,000 miles (1,609kms) from Kathmandu in Nepal to Bangalore.

He does not know how old he is, but thinks he has been away from home for over a year.

He is tired and hungry and agrees to go with Mounesh to a shelter for railway children.

All his family are back in Nepal, including his mother, sister and brother. He misses them.
