In pictures: Indian railways' runaway children
'Big dreams'

Mounesh is a "street educator" for the UK charity EveryChild's partner organisation in Bangalore. A small team of street educators works from 6am to 9pm seven days a week, searching for lost children.

At least 15 new children arrive in Bangalore by train each day - they come from all over India to find work, escape ill treatment at home or simply believing a better life awaits them in the big city.

"Children come to Bangalore with big dreams but end up a big mess," says Mounesh.
