Declining fish

Climatic changes have also brought problems to Sunamganj in the north-east.

Mohin Uddin, 45, used to fish in this haor (swampy wetland) up to eight months a year. Declining fish catches mean he can now only work for four.

Over the past decade the haors have dried up in the winter and summer flash floods destroy rice crops.
