In pictures: Climate change in Bangladesh


Crammed together

Scenes like this have been called silent disasters. And they are becoming more frequent in Bangladesh.

More than 1,000 climate refugees are crammed together in makeshift shelters at a school in Tala, in the south-west.

They were forced here in September, when flooding left their homes under water.
