In pictures: Hidden treasures of Tanzania
The night shift

Michele Menegon, a zoologist from Italy’s Natural History Museum of Trento, has been visiting the forests of the Eastern Arc chain of mountains in Tanzania for more than a decade.

"These mountains are one of the biodiversity hotspots of the world with a large number of endemic flora and fauna," he explains.

The frogs and chameleons he is studying are nocturnal so he has to work at night.
