Life is returning to normal in Ameriya for Mohammed, who can now enjoy a walk with his daughter, Reen.

He said life under the al-Qaeda occupation was terrible.

"They wouldn't even let us smoke, and we couldn't buy bananas because they said they looked rude."

But then came what he called "the Awakening Revolution", and life got better again.
