As World Water Week gets under way, no-one is more aware of the need to protect this scarce resource than the people of Rajasthan, one of the driest states in India.

As the population is growing, use of water is growing even faster.

Camels are a familiar sight in the state - in fact, 300,000 of its inhabitants depend on camels for their living.
