In pictures: Life among Thai protesters


For nearly three weeks, protesters from the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) have occupied the main government complex in Bangkok in protest against "corrupt" Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej.

Earlier this week, a court ruled Mr Samak must resign over an apparently unrelated matter, and on Friday, he gave up the fight to reclaim his position. But it remains to be seen whether this will prove enough for the determined protesters.
