In pictures: Chinese migrants go home

Guangzhou Railway Station is a gateway to the south. Each day, thousands of farmers arrive on their way to find work.

But lately many people have been departing from here as well, as factory closures force them to return home.

This will be a huge problem for families in China’s rural hinterland, who rely on the money sent back by migrants.
