If untreated, leprosy can also cause other health complications. The lack of mobility with damage to hands and feet means even simple tasks are a massive challenge.

Here, a medical team from Juba examine a man who has eyesight problems.

People from the village always come out when they hear the medics are visiting. Often it results in some of them being booked into the main hospital in Juba to have cataract operations.
