Little shelter

Lori-Rokwe village is mainly made up of traditional thatch huts or simple shacks. However, some are in extremely poor condition, and offer little shelter against either the baking sun or seasonal heavy rains.

"There is space but no houses, so they must build their own," said Marchello Dora, a nurse at the clinic.

"But there are enough drugs."

Many here also struggle with diseases associated with poverty and poor sanitation.
