Messenger of peace

"The foundation has existed for a while, but now we're trying breath more life into it," says Rene-Pierre Anouma, who helps run it.

"The building itself shows the dimensions of President Houpouet-Boigny’s thoughts. He was a messenger of peace."

The building is a short drive from the ceasefire line that still divides the country in two between the rebel-controlled north and the government-controlled south.
