Future

Chief Abel Yanguende echoes this sentiment: "I'd rather stay where my children are safe and can go to school, that way they will have a future."

As does Chief Moise Bouca [pictured centre]:

"We never went to school, but when we became fathers we realised how important that our kids get an education. At first we sent them to school in another village but it was too far; our children wouldn't come home until late; this put some parents off.

"So we decided to build our own."
