In pictures: Cooking in the Danger Zone

In 1986, the world's biggest nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power station in Ukraine.

Two days after the accident, a 30km exclusion zone was set-up around the reactor and those living inside the zone were evacuated.

But around 300 people returned to their villages inside what is known as the "Zone of Alienation" and despite the risks from contamination, they eat and drink produce from the land.
