Warda is a Mawlidiyya – an itinerant trader earning her living going from moulid to moulid.

She sells coloured hats which she makes herself from crisp packets. Her best seller is the tarboush or fez, costing 50 piastres ($0.08). She aims to sell 500 hats at each moulid.
